DESCRIPTION:  \nCall for Participation \nWhen: 14-18 September 2026 (Online session: to be announced)\nOptional excursion day: 19 September 2026\nLocation: University of Music and Performing Arts Graz\nApplication deadline: 30 May 2026 \nTarget group: The Summer School is intended for advanced Master’s students\, doctoral candidates\, and early-career researchers in Historical Musicology\, Gender Studies\, Digital Humanities\, Cultural Studies\, Music Philology\, and related disciplines. \n\n\n\n\nDescription\nHow does our understanding of music history and historiography change when digital methods and music-related Gender Studies intersect – in short\, when sources meet AI? \nThe Summer School “Gender – Knowledge – Mobility. Digital Perspectives in Musicology” invites advanced Master’s students\, doctoral candidates\, and early-career researchers to engage with current developments at the intersection of Historical Musicology\, gender and mobility studies\, network-oriented research\, Digital Humanities\, and Artificial Intelligence\, combining discussion with hands-on practice. \nMORE INFORMATION \nThis Summer School is organized as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP).\nECTS credits: 3\nCosts: No participation fee will be charged.\nLanguages of instruction: German and English\nAll participants will receive a certificate.
